Diamonds are a girl's best friend.

Reconozco que me encanta vestir con un toque deportivo y diferente a lo que suele llevar la gente por la calle. No os podéis imaginar el tiempo que estuve detrás de una sudadera de Diamond Supply & Co, miré mucho por internet pero nunca me decidí a comprarme nada. Hasta que por fin, cuando estuve en Atlanta en verano, mis ojos se fueron directos a la estantería donde estaba doblada. Y, ¡por fin! Fue mía.

Puede que el estilo de este outfit no guste mucho, lo considero bastante "mío" y lo que me suele decir la gente es "A mí me gusta como te queda, pero no me lo pondría." o "Me gusta pero para ti." El caso es que, a mí me gusta, yo me siento cómoda y yo misma lo siento como algo "diferente" o "poco habitual"; esto son las cosas que caracterizan a este outfit y que más me gustan.

I love having a sporty style and different from the other people who's walking in the streets. You can not imagine how long I was looking for a Diamond Supply & Co sweatshirt. I tried on the internet but I'd never decided to buy anything until I saw this sweatshirt on a shelf. It was when I was out shopping in a Mall in Atlanta. Finally, it was mine!

Maybe people don't like this style but I consider it as "mine", "different" and "not usual", and these are the things which characterized this outfit and the ones I like the most.

Por si todavía no había quedado claro que el sporty chic es mi estilo, os lo vuelvo a mostrar en un nuevo outfit. En un principio me parecía demasiado atrevido incluso a mí, pero cada vez que lo veo me gusta más.

I'm proving you that the sporty chic is my style with this new outfit. At first I thought it was daring even for me, but as much as I look at it I like it more.

Me compré este vestido hace dos años en mi viaje a Nueva York y, a pesar de que me lo he puesto pocas veces, siempre que lo hago es de manera muy diferente. (Click para ver otro post con este mismo vestido y un estilo muy diferente).

Braves game, Atlanta III.

¡Hola a todos! Sigo con el tema de los anteriores posts (que podéis ver pinchando aquí y aquí), Atlanta. Como habéis podido observar en la primera foto de la entrada, hoy nos centramos en el tema: deportes, baseball más concretamente. No podíamos visitar una ciudad como Atlanta sin dejar de ir a ver un partido de los Braves. Personalmente disfruté mucho, sobre todo con la cámara que grababa al público del estadio; aunque al principio pasamos muchísimo calor, la verdad es que fue una experiencia que mereció la pena.

Hi everyone! I keep posting with the same theme as the previous posts (which you can watch here and here): Atlanta. As you could see on the first pic today you're reading about sports, specifically baseball. We couldn't visit a place like Atlanta without going to a Braves game. Personally I enjoyed so much, the thing I liked the most was the camera recording the crowd; although we'd been too heated during the first part of the play we spent an amazing time there.

Y aquí os enseño, por fin: el outfit. La mayoría de prendas las compré allí y las zapatillas de deporte son unas de mis preferidas, ya sabéis que me encantan.

And now finally: the outfit, most of the clothes I'm wearing were purchased there and the sneakers are my favorites, as you know I absolutely love sneakers.

Downtown Marietta, Atlanta II.

¡Hola a todos! El domingo/lunes/martes de madrugada volví a España después de un viaje terrible y larguísimo por culpa de retrasos aéreos y problemas relacionados con aeropuertos (27 horas de viaje son muchas horas). Después de pasar un mes increíble en Marietta, Atlanta (Georgia), como ya os comenté en el anterior post, tenía que enseñaros algunos de mis rincones favoritos acompañados de lo que llevé puesto. La verdad es que me he comprado mucha ropa (¿para qué mentir?), pero además he visitado lugares preciosos y realizado actividades muy interesantes. La estancia allí fue maravillosa y estaré eternamente agradecida a la familia Aaron que me acogió en su casa y con ellos la diversión estaba asegurada. Ha sido una de las mejores experiencias de mi vida.

En el post de hoy os enseño una de las partes más antiguas de la localidad, Downtown Marietta. Lo que veis en las fotos no tiene más de 200 años de antigüedad, pero allí 200 años es muchísimo tiempo. Pasear por esas calles y visitar las tiendas de antigüedades fue como viajar en el tiempo, además de tener la suerte de toparnos con una exposición de coches antiguos. En la foto de entrada al post se ve el famoso "Big Chicken" de Marietta, y, en el resto de fotos, podéis encontrar el museo de la conocida película "Lo que el viento se llevó", rodada en este lugar. 

¡Espero que os gusten las fotos tanto como a mí el lugar! Y en cuanto al outfit, era necesario algo cómodo pero esto no significa que no pueda ser bonito, ¿a vosotr@s qué os parece?

Hi everyone! Last Sunday/Monday/Tuesday I came back to Spain after an awful and too long journey from Atlanta because of the plane delays and problems related to the airports (27 hours traveling are too much hours). After spending an amazing time in Marietta, Atlanta (Georgia), as you could see on my last post, I have to show you some of my favorite places and what I wore. I actually have bought a lot of clothes (why lie?), but I've also visited gorgeous places and I've done very interesting activities. My residence there would have never been possible without the Aaron's family who hosted me at their home and with them fun was guaranteed. We've done such a lot of interesting stuff together and it was one of the best experiences in my whole life.

Today's post is about one of the oldest parts of the city, Downtown Marietta. What you can see in pictures is not older than 200 years, but there that's too much time. Walking around those streets and the vintage shops located there is like time traveling, and we were really lucky because we randomly found an antique-car-exhibition. On the first photo you can see the famous Marietta's Big Chicken, and other stuff like the Gone With The Wind, which was filmed there, museum.

I hope you like these pics as much as I loved the place! Talking about my outfit, I needed some comfy but also beautiful, what do you think about it?
