Over the knee

¡Estoy encantada con el post de hoy! Ya visteis este vestido en un outfit sporty chic (AQUÍ), pero esta propuesta es totalmente nueva. Este look me gusta muchísimo más que el anterior. No estoy muy segura de cuál es el elemento que le da "el toque", porque tanto las botas como el vestido me pierden. Como ya os conté, el vestido me lo hizo mi madre el año pasado. Con lo que se lleva este año el cuello, me va perfecto; además el estampado ha sido, es y será una maravilla.

Las overhte knee boots botas altas de toda la vida son tendencia ahora mismo. La mayoría de it girls y famosas tienen unas. A mí me llevan encantando desde hace tiempo, he mirado/buscado muchísimos modelos preguntándome, ¿y por qué yo no tengo unas? Entonces, el viernes entré en ZARA y vi como me miraban y... ¡aquí las veis!

I'm so glad with today's post! You saw this dress previously in this post (HERE) but this way is absolutely new. I love this look so much more than the other. I'm not really sure about the element which gives "the thing" of the outfit. As I told you my mum made this neck dress, which is trend this season. Over the knee boots are also trend now and most of the it girls have those. I've been loving and wanting a pair for a long time. Finally I'm glad because I found them in ZARA on Friday.

Por fin puedo sacar un poquito de tiempo. ¡Moría de ganas por enseñaros este vestido! Como la mayoría de ropa "inusual" (por así decirlo) que tengo, me lo hizo mi madre. Me encanta este tipo de prendas porque no las tienen ni las tiendas ni verás a nadie vistiendo así.
En un principio, cuando vimos la tela, supimos que sería nuestra. Me encantan los cuadros de estilo Burberry desde siempre. A la hora de decirle a mi madre lo que quería que hiciera, me planteé varias cosas. Al final, decidí un vestido de este tipo. He visto varios modelos de esta temporada con el cuello bebé y me gustan bastante.

¿Qué os parece el vestido? ¿Os lo pondríais? Me ha dicho mucha gente que cambiaría el calzado, pero ya sabéis que soy una adicta a lo sporty.

Thank God I can have a little moment to post something new here. I was dying to show you the awesome dress! My mum made it as she'd done with all of my "inusual" clothes. I love these kind of garments because of the difference between the average clothes you can find while going shopping or in the streets.

At first when we'd seen the fabric, we knew that it was going to be ours. By the way I didn't know what I wanted. I thought about a skirt but I ended up deciding what you can see. I've loved these kind of dresses because of the Peter Pan neck. I'd seen so much dresses with it and I fancied one.

Wht do you think about the dress? Do you all like it? Some people've told me that they'd change the shoes but as you know I'm an sporty adict.

Cuando empezaron a aparecer las famosas capas de Burberry se me antojó algo del estilo pero que no fuera típico, ya sabéis que las cosas normales por lo general no me las pongo. Hasta el sábado que fuimos a Madrid no se me había pasado por la cabeza que pudiera tener una a mi gusto, hasta que vi esta tela. Al principio mi madre y yo pensamos que sería un precioso maxi-abrigo de los que se llevan tanto ahora, pero como me conozco y sé que un abrigo estampado no me lo voy a poner mucho, por lo que se me ocurrió sugerir lo de la capa. A mi madre le pareció muy bien, compramos la tela y el viernes ya estaba la capa acabada. Poco a poco se nos fueron ocurriendo cosas: el borde granate, ponerle letras, el tipo de letra... La verdad es que mi madre y yo, aunque muchas veces no estemos de acuerdo, acabamos "diseñando" (si se puede decir así), prendas que suelen gustar mucho.

Tenemos más ropa en el horno cociéndose, además de muchas ideas en la cabeza. Es una suerte que mi madre ya supiera coser, pero ella misma nota que está mejorando muchísimo y los de fuera también lo vemos. Yo creo que en otra vida fue Cocó Chanel.

When the Burberry capes started to became famous I wanted to find something in that way but different. As you know I'm not really into normal things. Until last Saturday I hadn't thought too much about it but I found this gorgeous fabric. At first mum and I thought in a kind of coat but I wouldn't wear it too much. So I suggested this thing and on Friday, my mother has the cape finished. I've taken little steps: the border, the letters... we usually try to "design" our own clothes to be original and different.

We've got more ideas and making new clothing. Luckily my mother was able to sew but nowadays she's becoming better in her works. I think she was Cocó Chanel in her past life.
